A Tale of Two Homes

We are out of space. We need something bigger.

Everything feels so old and out dated.

I wish I was closer to work.

Whatever your reason for wanting to make a move, we all go through a check list of options. Build new, renovate your current house, renovate a fixer-upper, find something move in ready, etc.

For two couples in Saskatoon they are allowing Saskatoon HOME magazine follow them on their journey, after having made up their minds about what form their new home is going to take. And this journey is being covered over three issues of Saskatoon HOME (the summer, fall and winter).

For one couple a total gutting down to the studs of a 1960's home is their choice.

For another couple they decided the lot was just too good to pass up, and are tearing down the existing home to build an in-fill.
