2011 Design Week


    The Design Council of Saskatchewan (DCS) recently held Design Week in Saskatoon, its biennial celebration of design. A variety of activities including free lectures and film presentations were held to promote public awareness and understanding of applied design.
   
    The week ended with the Mixer @ the Market - an opportunity to check out fresh, homegrown professional design at the Saskatoon Farmers’ Market with the announcement of the winners of the Premier’s Design Awards program.

    The winning projects are an eclectic and inspiring example of the great work being done throughout the province of Saskatchewan.


Winners are as follows:

Graphic Design:

Premier’s Award of Excellence in Design: ScotDance Canada 2010, Logo – Ryan Schmidt, Sparrowhaus

Award of Merit: Howies Barber Shop, Logo – Ryan Schmidt, Sparrowhaus

Design A Light Competition
